In Her Words
“When I look back on when I first recognized my entrepreneurial spirit, I honestly think I have always had one. As far back as I can remember, I was trying to come up with little businesses to make money. I turned part of our house into a restaurant and would make my babysitter Mr. Noodles, then charge her for lunch. Not long after, I decided I was a hairstylist and somehow convinced that same babysitter to pay me over twenty dollars just so I could brush her hair. I also opened a post office in my bedroom — every day I would sort the family mail and charge my parents for the service. I have always loved creating ideas and finding opportunities.
LEARNING TO SHOW UP
My first real job came at 16, bussing tables at Earls, and I absolutely loved the fast-paced environment. I quickly realized that if I worked hard, stayed positive, and was willing to learn, opportunities would follow. By 19, I had worked my way up to Day Leader at Earls Kelowna — my first real leadership role — and it taught me invaluable lessons about teamwork, accountability, and leading by example.
It was not one big idea that shaped my career. It was a series of small experiences that taught me the value of showing up, working hard, and treating people with respect.
A PRIVATE ISLAND
One of my earliest and most memorable business experiences was having the opportunity to market and sell a private island. This was long before drones became part of real estate marketing. To capture aerial photographs, we hired a small plane with no doors and flew over the island while the photographer leaned out to get the shots. It was an adventure, and it reminded me that great marketing has always required creativity, problem-solving, and a willingness to think outside the box. That experience sparked my passion for luxury real estate marketing and taught me that every property has a unique story to tell.
DRAWN TO LUXURY
From the very beginning of my career, I was drawn to luxury real estate — exceptional architecture, quality craftsmanship, and thoughtfully designed homes. Over the years, I have been fortunate to build a personal brand specializing in luxury properties throughout the Tri-Cities and Greater Vancouver. Like any entrepreneur, I have experienced setbacks, changing markets, and listings that did not sell despite years of work. Those moments taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of adapting rather than giving up.
THE PINNACLE PARTNERSHIP
One of the most meaningful professional relationships in my career has been with The Pinnacle List. What began over 14 years ago has evolved into a long-standing partnership built on trust, shared values, and a passion for exceptional marketing. I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the most respected real estate professionals and marketing some of the world’s most extraordinary properties, giving me a unique perspective on luxury real estate, branding, and the power of storytelling.
LADIES NIGHT IN
Like many entrepreneurs, there were seasons where my business had to come first. Creating and running Ladies Night In for seven years became much more than an event — it was a passion project that required countless evenings, weekends, and months of planning. Those years taught me resilience, discipline, and the importance of purpose, but they also reminded me that success is about more than professional accomplishments.

A GRADUAL REALIZATION
There was not one defining moment when I thought, I have made it. Instead, it was a gradual realization that the work I was doing had the potential to reach far beyond my local market. Working alongside The Pinnacle List challenged me to think bigger — not just about selling homes, but about building brands, telling stories, and connecting with a worldwide audience.
I wholeheartedly believe that no one succeeds alone. I am deeply grateful to Josh Bath and Terri Silsbury of Royal LePage Elite West for their trust and support, and to my business partner Kris Cyganiak for his unwavering belief in me. Ladies Night In would never have become what it is without my incredible committee, and to Michelle Raymond — my most heart-centred friend who feels like a sister — I am forever grateful. Most importantly, I am grateful to my family, my clients, and the countless friends and colleagues who have trusted me along the way.
LEADING WITH HONESTY
Early in my career, I wanted to make everyone happy. Over time, I have realized that true leadership is about giving people the honest information they need to make informed decisions — whether that means advising a seller to price differently or delivering news they were not hoping to hear. Honesty, even when difficult, builds trust. I have also learned that not every opportunity is the right opportunity, and staying true to my values leads to stronger relationships and a more fulfilling career.
THE HEART TODAY
At the heart of my business is one simple purpose: helping people. Real estate is about guiding people through some of the biggest financial and emotional decisions of their lives, and I never take that responsibility for granted. Whether I am helping a first-time buyer, marketing a luxury waterfront estate, or advising a family through a major life transition, my goal is always the same — to provide honest advice, exceptional service, and an experience built on trust.
THE ASK
As I approach my 20th year in real estate, I am focused on building upon the foundation I have created while embracing new opportunities ahead. I am looking to connect with like-minded collaborators who share a passion for innovation, luxury marketing, and community, and to expand my support team with dedicated administrative and marketing professionals. My greatest hope is to continue growing Ladies Night In as a platform that inspires and empowers women while supporting meaningful charitable initiatives.
When I think about legacy, I do not hope to be remembered simply for the homes I sold or the business I built. I hope to be remembered for the way I made people feel — for leading with kindness, integrity, and authenticity. If I have helped someone believe in themselves or inspired them to pursue their own dreams, then I know I have been successful.”
