Armageddon Road Packs the Rio Theatre for Vancouver Premiere

A full house greeted director Karen Lam and the cast of Armageddon Road at the Rio Theatre this week, where the pitstop screening drew fans eager for an early look at the filmmaker’s latest genre-bending feature. Following the film, Lam joined cast members for a post-show Q&A, giving the audience a chance to hear directly from the team behind the film’s darkly comic take on fate and redemption.

Armageddon Road follows Steve, an ex-con hired to chauffeur a mob boss’s girlfriend for one night, unaware that his passenger has died and is now possessed by one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Brian McCaig stars as Steve, opposite Natalie Grace as Delilah, in a story critics have already begun comparing to a blend of Pulp Fiction and Escape to Witch Mountain, according to Sinister Cinema Reviews.
