Helen Siwak is a passionate storyteller and strategic content creator who thrives on crafting meaningful narratives for brands, publications, and personalities. As the founder of EcoLuxLuv Communications and Marketing Inc., she leads a media company specializing in designing, launching, and publishing digital hybrid magazines that serve as marketing vehicles for the individuals and businesses featured within their pages. She is the publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Folio.YVR Luxury Lifestyle Magazine (2019) and PORTFOLIO.YVR Business & Entrepreneurs Magazine (2023), two ad-free hybrid publications that elevate local voices through compelling storytelling and sophisticated editorial design.
In 2025, Helen expanded her editorial leadership, taking on the role of Associate Editor and Brand Agent for West Coast Weddings Magazine, supporting the revitalization of its print and digital presence. She also became Editor-in-Chief of LIV Magazine’s three British Columbia titles, overseeing content direction and elevating regional storytelling across fashion, wellness, travel, and culture.
With a sharp focus on strategic growth, Helen has led Folio.YVR to a readership increase of over 2,000% in 2025 alone, with over two million reads in the first six months of 2025. She has signed international licensing agreements with Asian news agencies and positioned Folio.YVR as Canada’s only digital luxury magazine officially partnered with the Luxury Lifestyle Awards (World Luxury Chamber of Commerce)—cementing the title’s global presence and credibility.
Helen’s publishing journey began in 1989, shortly after arriving in Vancouver, when she founded the city’s first hybrid arts, culture, and activism magazine, In Hell’s Belly. She quickly established herself in the underground scene, managing artists in music and TV/film and contracting in entertainment law. By 1998, she was writing, producing, and casting, for Canadian indie film and television, managing bands and appearing on red carpets at VIFF, TIFF, Cannes, and SXSW.
Over the years, Helen has interviewed global icons such as Giorgio Armani, Pamela Anderson, Martin Sheen, Bryan Adams, Andrew Gn, Stefano Ricci, and Thierry Mugler, as well as notorious figures including Larry Flynt, Raif Adelberg, Ron Jeremy, and Marilyn Manson.
In 2015, she acquired BLUSHVancouver and transformed it into a highly trafficked mid-market women’s lifestyle brand. After selling the company, Helen contributed to publications such as Daily Hive, Boulevard Magazine (English and Chinese editions), Montecristo, and Retail Insider, before shifting her focus fully to her own media and marketing platforms.
Known for her obsessive creativity, problem-solving acumen, and vast international network, Helen continues to push boundaries in digital publishing and brand storytelling. Her work bridges luxury and sustainability, with a relentless drive to uplift the voices and ventures that are shaping the future of conscious living.
